Directors Philanthropy Fund
The Directors of the Tompkins Charitable Gift Fund are proud to help fund organizations and causes at many levels.
Over the years our grants have supported a wide variety of charities that support and enrich the lives of those living in Central New York, Western New York, the Hudson Valley and Eastern Pennsylvania. See appendix A in the below guidelines for qualifying counties. A typical Directors Philanthropy Fund grant has averaged around $2,500 and in the past we have given to organizations that support:

Submission deadlines are April 1 of each year. Please note: We have simplified our procedure to one Spring Grant Cycle per year, detailed below. The application portal will reopen for the 2027 cycle on September 1, 2026.
