Our Charitable Gift Fund offers five pools for donor-advisors to choose an investment portfolio using a blend of mutual funds and exchange traded funds. The five approaches to match your charitable giving objectives are:
Agressive Growth Pool
The pool offers a diversified portfolio designed using a core set of holdings to provide exposure to the world equity markets, with additional holdings around the core to tilt the portfolio based on current conditions. Asset classes with historically low correlations are blended in an effort to lower overall portfolio risk.
Environmental, Social, and Governance Growth Pool
This pool offers a diversified portfolio offering a wide range of asset classes, multiple institutional money managers and multiple styles with a goal of above average capital appreciation with current income as a secondary concern. Qualitative screens are used in addition to quantitative research to select investments from companies that practice the concepts of environmental and socially responsible investing.
Moderate Growth Pool
This pool offers a diversified portfolio with a wide range of asset classes, multiple institutional money managers and multiple styles with a primary goal of capital appreciation and a secondary objective of current income. This pool is recommended for donors who are comfortable with some risk over a longer time horizon in order to potentially grow their investments for the future benefit of their grantees.
Growth With Income Pool
This pool is a diversified portfolio with a wide range of asset classes, multiple institutional money managers and multiple styles with a primary goal of both modest capital appreciation as well as current income in an effort to provide potentially more stable returns in the shorter term. This pool allocates more invested funds to fixed income mutual funds with lower historical volatility than equity mutual funds.
Fixed Income Pool
This pool offers a diversified portfolio of fixed income asset classes, using multiple institutional money managers and multiple styles with an emphasis on current income. This pool is for the conservative donor who is not comfortable taking risk with the principal value of their investments.
